Solihull Moors have brought back wing-back Marvin Johnson on a temporary deal running until January 9. The player, who is 35 and first played for the club over a decade ago, returns to help a team positioned 23rd in the National League standings.

Manager Chris Millington welcomed the move. "It’s great to welcome Marvin back to the club," he said. "He brings valuable experience, real quality on the left and versatility that gives us options across the squad."

Johnson brings extensive experience

Johnson has featured in more than 150 matches for Sheffield Wednesday, helping them earn promotion. His career has also included time with Oxford United, Middlesbrough, Motherwell and Port Vale, and he secured top-flight promotion while on loan at Sheffield United. He also played over 100 times for Kidderminster Harriers.

He returned to play immediately, appearing as a substitute in a midweek National League Cup victory against Newcastle United's Under-21 side. The win was sealed by goals from B. Wodskou and F. Coffey, with details available in the stats section.

Johnson can now be selected as the team gets ready for their upcoming match, an away game against Worthing this weekend. The full schedule is on the fixtures page.
