Solihull Moors have signed veteran striker Elias Kachunga on a short-term free transfer to bolster their attack. The 34-year-old forward has agreed a deal that runs until 9 January 2027.
Kachunga brings extensive experience from spells at Huddersfield Town, Bolton Wanderers and Cambridge United. He scored 12 goals to help Huddersfield win promotion to the Premier League in 2017 and later lifted the EFL Trophy with Bolton. He started his career in Germany with Borussia Mönchengladbach and also played for Paderborn and Ingolstadt.
Manager Chris Millington highlighted the player's versatility and know-how. "Elias has played at a high level and brings plenty of experience to our attacking options," Millington said. "He can play across the front line, and we’re looking forward to working with him."
The move comes with Solihull Moors 23rd in the National League, having taken just seven points from their opening 12 matches. Their recent form shows two wins and three losses from the last five games.
Kachunga is available for selection and could make his debut in the next match away to fifth-placed Worthing on Saturday. The club has also re-signed former academy wing-back Marvin Johnson, 35, on an identical short-term contract.
