Scott High scored the goal that finally delivered Solihull Moors their first league win of the season. The 1-0 victory over Barrow at Damson Park on Tuesday ended a seven-match winless streak and lifted the club off the foot of the National League table, where they now sit 23rd on four points.

High struck in the 66th minute, finishing a move created by Jodi Sbarra, to break the deadlock in a match that turned just before halftime. Barrow's MJ Williams was shown a straight red card for pulling back Jacob Wakeling, leaving the visitors to play the entire second period with ten men.

Jamie Andrews made a vital block in added time to preserve the three points, a key intervention after the team had conceded 23 goals in their opening nine games. The win provides a much-needed boost ahead of a challenging fixtures list.

The result moves Solihull Moors above Yeovil Town on goal difference, a small consolation after a heavy 4-1 defeat at Huish Park just three days prior.
